Great racers can make great sires of more great racers. Real Quiet and E Dubai won prestigious races and sired Midnight Lute and Desert Code for great 2008 BC wins.

Nicknamed the "Big Ol' Tank" by jockey Garrett Gomez, Midnight Lute became the only 2008 Breeders' Cup champion to capture a second straight title. His daddy, Real Quiet, was a dual Classic winner in 1998, winning the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes.

Desert Code came from a sire line that includes daddy, E Dubai, and great runners like Mr. Prospector, Raise a Native and Native Dancer. He won the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, a 6-1/2 furlongs match that required the rally and speed previously demonstrated by his ancestry.
