Breeders' Cup World Championships Produced Two Juvenile Stars

One star, that of Stardom Bound, rose exceptionally high at the 2008 Breeders' Cup World Championships held October 24 and 25 this year. A daughter of graded stakes winner Tapit, Stardom Bound destroyed the field in her BC Juvenile Fillies triumph.
Her boy counterpart, Midshipman, made short work of his 11 rivals in the BC Juvenile field. With Seattle Slew, Bold Reasoning and Unbridled's offspring in his parentage, Midshipman will be a juvenile rising star to keep an eye on next season.
